Είναι ένα οικοσύστημα που αποτελείται από ενδημικά και μη ενδημικά φυτά όπως αυτό, το Arisarum vulgare, που βρίσκεται σε 3 τοποθεσίες σε όλο τον κόσμο - στη Μαδέρα, στις Αζόρες και στη Μεσόγειο. The Akamas Peninsula hosts a unique wildlife diversity which makes it a very important sanctuary for Mediterranean plants and wildlife. It’s an ecosystem that consists of endemic and non-endemic plants like this one, the Arisarum vulgare, found in 3 locations around the world - Madeira, Azores and the Mediterranean.
